This is a lovely one roomed bar, with friendly staff and classic micropub features, such as the cold room at the back with a stillage for the cask ales. These are served on gravity dispense and were in really excellent condition on our first visit - some of the best quality cask ale we've had in ages. Their specialism in Kent and SE London beers provides a point of interest and fits well with their location. The layout is simple but comfortable, and encourages conversation between customers and staff. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and are very happy to recommend it. Note, it's just up the road from the excellent Star & Garter, providing a good double header.
