Part of the Laine Brewing empire, this one is typically huge and eclectic, with music, comedy and other events in the 'music hall' section to one side. Opens late at weekends (2am Fri/Sat) but it might be best avoided on those evenings unless you like long queues and bouncers at the door. 8 cask ales, mostly Laine's, but nothing much of note on keg or in bottles. They used to brew their own beer but in February 2020 it was confirmed that the brewing equipment had been removed.

Massive multi-room former-brewpub, part of the Laine's chain. Available beers are from the Laine's range plus guests from the UK and beyond. Some of the additional rooms are designated for other activities such as gaming, but I have to confess that I have not yet had the courage to explore them...
