The Mall Tavern has been modernised but retains a comfy feel inside. The draft list was particularly strong when two of our researchers revisited in Oct 2022 and continues to get good reviews. The food menu looks good but we’ve yet to try it. Additional spaces include the Library room upstairs and a ‘Beer Cellar’. This is a good option in an area which needed a pub with a wide beer range.
