It’s great to see this wonderful pub alive and well after facing demolition and replacement with flats. Offering a changing range of 5 cask, 8 keg and c.20 bottles - including some classic Belgians – this is a cosy pub with many interesting features. Food can be ordered in from a local pizza place, and there’s a sizeable garden out the back.

Saved by the local community this is a true success story. Deceptively large bar with a sizeable beer garden to the rear, but it still gets very busy with , on occasion, queues of people waiting to get in. This is a proper locals pub that nevertheless offers a great range of beers with very little macro. 10 taps and 5 handpumps of well chosen beers and ciders. You can order Yard Sale Pizza to be delivered to you whilst you enjoy your beer.
