This is the sort of pub in which you wouldn’t normally expect to find good beer. Situated on the main road from Clapham North to Stockwell (almost half distance, but marginally closer to Clapham North), it’s a slightly unpromising location, but Harvey’s have recently taken it on, given it a sympathetic uplift, and introduced good beer. Four Harvey’s casks and two of their keg beers should provide more than enough for most, and I suspect more good beer might follow (to replace some of the remaining macro keg lines). It's basically one large, airy, open plan room with an L shaped bar, a cosier nook with sofas in a side room, and a small ‘secret’ beer garden out the back. Good place.
