This is a lovely, one roomed micropub with friendly staff, and excellent cask ale served on gravity dispense from the cold room behind the bar. Out the back there’s a beer garden providing extra seating and a chance to view the progress of the hops they’re growing, which are used later on in a beer they help to brew.

At the western extremities of the Guide, well Ruislip, is this micropub in a former shop unit. About ten minutes walk from the tube station is this well executed example of this style. A good choice of 8 beers, 4 of which are cask ales served on gravity from the cold room. A well stocked fridge supplements the selection. As well as the comfortable seating there is the added bonus of a garden to the rear.
