This bar, located by the Amy Winehouse statue, offers a great opportunity to try beers from leading Italian brewery Birra Baladin. Their beers are generally excellent so it is great to have them available in London. That said, I find the choice of location slightly curious as it’s a relatively small unit in the middle of the very busy market. It also feels more like a restaurant that offers good beers, rather than a bar which offers food – though it is perfectly fine to come in just for a beer, and the staff are efficient, friendly and welcoming. Note, they don’t have their own loos so you have to traipse through the market to find the ones for general market use. These cost 50p per visit! (and yes, you can use contactless to pay).
