Deviant and Dandy Tap Room
Brewery tap in a railway arch in the centre of Hackney.
Out of nowhere, the railway arches near Hackney Central station now have three very good places within a few metres of each other. The Experiment and St John at Hackney are next door to each other on Bohemia Place, about 30 seconds from Deviant and Dandy, which is round the corner in the first arch on the other side of the railway. Ex Beavertown owner Byron is the boss here, and he and his team provide a warm welcome to their brewery tap. On our visit beers were served from a little caravan in the yard, and there is seating both in the yard and inside the brewery. In colder months the tap room will mostly move inside, though space is tight. Expect up to 6 of their own beers on draft.
