Truman’s Social Club is now called Big Penny Social, reflecting their new name. It’s an enormous unit, visually stunning when you enter the huge main hall with its high ceilings adding to the sense of space. There’s additional space out the back in a beer garden with lots of tables, all of which have parasols. Food is provided from an open kitchen down the back near the garden. An impressive space and another excellent stop on the Blackhorse Lane mile.
