Spacious brewery tap in the ever expanding Blackhorse Road beer mile.

Jezza says

The brewery formerly known as Hale Brewing have relocated and rebranded, landing in Walthamstow (just round the corner from Signature, and just down the road from Wild Card) with a new brewery much larger than their previous one. Mind you, given they started in a shipping container, that wouldn’t be hard. The beer here is excellent – again, no surprise given what they were producing as Hale - and the tap room is well equipped with a good view of the new brewing kit. Expect around 9 drafts, mostly Exale but also some guests, and a pretty impressive bottled range of just over 20. For now they do not offer thirds, but plan to do this in due course – which is good as I’d have liked the chance to try more beers than half pint pours allowed. However, the halves are exactly half the price of a pint, which is good to see when the trend is often for hefty mark ups. Food can be ordered in from a local pizza place, and there will be live music – check website for details. A really good set up this, and well worth a visit. Note, card only, no cash.
