Steve's Top Picks
I keep lots of lists of things that I have seen and done, not least the beers I have tried and the pubs I have visited. There is a certain thrill about going to a new place for the first time, unsure of what you may find, and that's why researching this guide is so much fun. However, there are some places that keep drawing you back, whether it's because you know you are going to find a good range of new and interesting beers, or you just want to relax with a beer and good company. These are my Top Picks.
Note that we regularly update what constitutes a top pick so places can be relegated from the list if their beer range dips or there are other significant changes.
Taproom and bottle shop bar with an outstanding range of beer.
Huge BrewDog bar incorporating its own brewery.
Bottle shop bar in the centre of Twickenham.
Cavernous pub with specialist Belgian/Dutch bar upstairs.
These pubs are not quite (yet) to the level of a Top Pick, but they are ones to watch. They are very much worth a visit if you have the time.
